Nominations for EdTechRI Board of Directors
EDTECHRI's mission is to promote excellence in education through the integration of existing and emerging technologies. Help us further our mission by joining the Board of Directors.
You're going to see some exciting updates from EdTechRI soon. The Board has been working quietly to restructure how we support you, organizing our efforts into clear, actionable core competencies. Before we fully launch this new direction, we are kicking off our Board elections. We need dedicated people ready to take ownership of these specific projects and help us grow.
We are looking for strategic professionals to help us advocate, amplify, and accelerate educational technology across Rhode Island.
As a Board Member, you will move beyond simply attending meetings. You will actively govern and grow one of our core operational arms:
Advocacy
Career Readiness
Funding & Foundation
Marketing & Brand
Networking
Purchasing
Training
We need your specific skills to build our future.
Strategic Direction: Attend our quarterly Board of Directors meetings.
Operational Impact: Dedicate time to actively driving one or more of EdTechRI’s core Arms.
Community Presence: Join us in person to represent the Board at 1-2 major events per year.
All nominees must be current members of RISTE either as individuals or through their schools/districts.
The Board is asking for nominations for 2 open seats.
All positions are for 3-year terms beginning July 1st.
The board meets once in the summer and 4 times during the school year.
